Crushes
I remember when I was little I liked a girl so I bought her a 15 dollar hat at valley fair. She was my girl so I didnt mind buying it until I saw something I wanted but I didn't have enough money to get it. I learned a valuable lesson, if you're gonna buy something that you didn't plan on buying try to keep it under 10 bucks

Kobe Bryant - my role model
There are many people that are role models. Even though I look up to family members and elders I choose people I'm not always around as my role models. My role model is Kobe Bryant because he has discipline, he doesn't slack off on the court, and he's a champion.
One of the main reasons Kobe is my role model is his discipline. He has countless accomplishments and has broken many NBA records and instead of being cocky he just stays confident. When he sees an inexperienced player he intimidates them without causing trouble. Kobe comes into a game fearless and does not allow off court problems to take him out of his game. I hope to be as discipline as Kobe one day.
Kobe Bryant is labeled as one of the hardest working players in NBA history. From start to finish Kobe refuses to slack off. No matter how bad games are going he makes adjustments. No matter who is guarding him he takes care of business. Best of all Kobe is "The Closer". Kobe Bryant is the biggest threat on the floor. Whether there's 20 seconds or 3 seconds, if you don't have Kobe covered by at least 2 to 3 defenders you better pray or go home because the game is over. Because Kobe shows no weakness he's the best.
The biggest thing about kob is that he's a champion. In 2006 Kobe was the NBA scoring champion averaging 35.6 ppg. He is a 5 time NBA champion and defending champion at the moment. Another thing people don't know is Kobe is the youngest player to win the NBA dunk contest in history. With Kobes long list of accomplishments there is no doubt he's a champion.
There are a lot of reasons Kobe is my role model. His discipline, He doesn't slack off, and he's a true champion. Not to mention Kobe is the king.

Brainstorming for my dream job
My dream job would have to be playing for the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers have always been my favorite team. They have a history of always being championship contenders. Another reason for me to play for the Lakers is that my favorite player and the best player in the history of basketball played for them.

Situation in egypt
The article "exhilarated by hope in Cairo" by Nicholas kristoff is about the struggle for freedom and democracy Egypt. It basically points out the peoples opinions and what they think should be done. It also points out the behavioral tendencies of the people and militia in Cairo. This article tells about the want for change and equal opportunity in the election.
Egypt is fed up with having the same president. They feel that Egypt should be a democracy like the united states and have open elections. Because the president wont step down they feel the need to protest. Usually protest is stopped by force from the military but in this case the military is on the side of the people. They set up checkpoints every hundred yards so nothing bad gets in or out. I think that's good because most demonstrations of freedom in the past were stopped by tear gas or some type of brutal force. I think Cairo will come out ahead in this fight for freedom.
